Richels Appointed to National Academies’ Climate Research Committee
EPRI’s Richard Richels has been appointed to the National Academies’ Climate Research Committee, which is responsible for developing, coordinating, and providing oversight for climate-related activities across the National Academies (which consists of the National Academy of Sciences, National Academy of Engineering, Institute of Medicine, and National Research Council).  The CRC also functions as the U.S. National Committee for the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP), and as a liaison between WCRP and the U.S. Climate Change Science Program.  Dr. Richels will serve a three-year term.  For more information, contact Richard Richels, (202) 872-9222, rrichels@epri.com.
