Welcome to the SSAS team newsletter.

2012 Software Submittal Dates

Generally, software is due to SSAS as follows:

  1. Beta submittal - Due 14 weeks prior to the Planned Completion Date (PCD)
  2. Final Acceptance submittal - Due 8 weeks prior to the Planned Completion Date (PCD)

Submittal dates for software with an end of 2012 Planned Completion Date (PCD):

  • 09/14/2012 for the Beta submittal
  • 11/01/2012 for the Final Acceptance submittal

Reminders:

  • Submittals (CD/DVD/SSAS FTP only) must be made to SSAS by 5:00 PM PT (Palo Alto, Office A2001)
  • No Actual Completion Date (ACD) will be given to software submitted to SSAS after 6:00 AM PT on 12/10/2012

2012 SSAS Software Development Workshops Schedule - Coming Soon!

The workshop schedule will be announced soon. The workshops will cover such topics as:

  • Software Development Requirements website
  • Tips for testing your software
  • EPRI software security requirements

Project Manager and SSAS Sector Contact Meetings

SSAS sector contacts will contact project managers with software deliverables in 2012-13 to discuss:

  • Lessons learned in 2011 and how to improve the software development experience in 2012
  • Software development requirements for 2012
  • Answer software development questions you may have

Migrating EPRI Materials to INPO's NANTeL System

SSAS is working with the Nuclear Sector to migrate EPRI materials to INPO's NANTeL System. Stay tuned for updates on this service.

EPRI Software Manual Template

The software manual must conform to the EPRI Software Manual Template (1.02 MB), which contains pre-made styles and auto-text. Download the Accompanying Procedure Manual (713 KB), which serves as a guide for completing the template.
