EPRI Meets With U.S. Representative Sue Myrick
In April, EPRI Board Chairman Jim Turner of Duke Energy met with Representative Sue Myrick (R-NC), who serves North Carolina's 9th District (the Charlotte metro area).  Duke Energy headquarters are in her district, and she is a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.  During their discussion, Jim Turner described his new role at EPRI and raised the idea of having EPRI come in to meet with the representative and her staff for an EPRI Prism presentation.  On May 20, Bryan Hannegan and John Novak met with Rep.  Myrick and her staff and provided a briefing on EPRI's Prism/MERGE analysis and on EPRI's climate and technology activities.
