National Research Council Climate Change
Reports Available
The National Research Council issued the first three
of five reports examining how the United States should
act to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and develop a
national strategy to adapt to the impacts of climate
change. EPRI’s Francisco de la Chesnaye was the
co-author of Chapter 2: Goals for Limiting Future Climate
Change, in the NRC report, Limiting the Magnitude
of Future Climate Change. EPRI’s Richard
Richels is a member of the panel preparing the next
report in the series, Informing Effective Decisions
and Actions Related to Climate Change, to be released
later this year. The reports are part of a congressionally
requested suite of studies known as America's Climate
Choices. Report briefs on the three published
reports are available from the America’s
Climate Choices website. For more information,
