Steve Yamamoto is Chief Financial Officer, Vice President Finance, and Treasurer at the Electric Power Research Institute. Yamamoto joined EPRI's Finance Department in November 2007 and became Director of Finance in April 2008. Yamamoto was appointed to his current position in July 2008. He served in similar roles at Virage Logic, Intermune, Placeware, and other companies during the last thirteen years—all in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Yamamoto received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting at San Jose State University and his Master of Business Administration at Golden Gate University.
